Yesterday, Sean and I met with the local rehabilitation centre, Лучик (pronounced Luchik and translated to english : sunbeam). They work with several youth with disabilities, both physical and developmental. We met with them at a local park where we got to know each other through name games and activities. Sean and I have designed a program which will help integrate the children in the community through several excursions, including swimming, visiting museums, movie theatres, and local parks. Talks with the organization have gone well we are in the process of developing a sustainable program to be employed in the future.
